     The famous alchemist Paracelsus (16th century) said that one should never accept the established doctrines at face value. One should find out for himself if what someone else wrote is true of not.

    In the House of the Sun, I have tried to give you spiritual information that I feel is both important and close to whatever truth it is embodying. However, the first requirement of the spiritual seeker is discrimination. You have to be able to discriminate between what feels right and what feels wrong to you. Do not accept anything at face value. Use your feelings, think about it, keep what you can use or what is valuable to you, and put the rest aside.

     My articles are not intended to tell you how things are. Rather, they are a tool to help you remember the knowledge you have within yourself. It is all there inside yourself. Feel it, remember it.

     Especially in the present time, when the world is sliding into a deep abyss, it is important not to look for someone else to tell you what you should think, what you should feel, what you should do. That will only make you dependant, and a slave to their doctrines. The purpose of life is not to follow a leader, a religion, a philosophy, but to become an individual aware of its divine essence, and its own creative potential. The Church will not by you a place in heaven, Christ will not return to save your soul, Hindu deities or Tibetan mantras will not help you neither, nor will the aliens save you from a cataclysmic earth.

     Knowledge is essential for one's spiritual path, but discrimination is equally important. Read as much as you can, but don't take anything at face value. My articles in the House of the Sun will help you on your path, but they are not the ultimate truth either. I hope that my articles will make you aware of your Self, will give you knowledge and insight, and that they will help you improve your life.
