Through the
Wave Acrylic on canvas, 51" X 53"
1970. Painted at a major transition point in my life. Begun on the west
coast in 1969 and completed in Woodstock in 1970. The stars are Orion. Appeared
on the inside cover of "Zero Time", a moog synthesizer record by Malcolm Cecil.
Shown in Omni Magazine's show "Space Art", in Chicago, 1981 as visionary art.

Catskill Thunder Acrylics and oils on canvas, 60" X 72", summer
of 1970. Inspired by the sounds of a summer thunderstorm, painted in the
heart of Woodstock, in a small studio overlooking the village green, one year after
the festival.

Galactic Water Painting Acrylic on canvas, 1970 One of a series of such paintings done on the floor, in a big
loft in downtown New York City. I started with a wet unprimed canvas. First with
pours and splashes, later worked on with brushes. About 9 of these paintings were
bought from me by Muldoon Elder of the Vorpal Gallery, in 1972. I would love to
see them again!
Grateful Mandala Acrylic on canvas, 55" X 72", 1971. Painted while video artist in residence at Mickey Hart's Grateful
Dead ranch in Novato, California, summer 1971. Used as a background for an experimental
music video.
Celebration Acrylic on canvas. Inspired by and done for pioneering experimental
music video work done in New York Crity in the early 70's.
