"I have always been fascinated by symbols. Symbols look so simple, yet they communicate so much. They provide a way to tap into our collective unconscious and discover unlimited potentials. After creating my first tarot decks, I felt the need to make a simple deck. In our society we commonly make use of symbols to capture specific concepts in a simple image. Look around next time you are at the airport, or the train station. Based upon the ordinary use of symbols, I condensed each tarot image to an essential simple image. Simple in appearance, each one was carefully chosen to reflect its tarot interpretation. The booklet contains explanations of the cards, based on hermetic traditions. For example, Card 11 shows a closed hand. "A hand is the symbol of strength and power. A clenched fist possesses confined energy, potential energy ready to explode unless it is directed in a purposeful way or transformed by relaxation. It needs to be used in a creative manner; the hand thus needs to channel its energy."
