The music I create comes through my heart, and I give it to the world with
love and for healing. My path includes giving guidance, I have followed
the stars, danced, painted, and now I am making healing sound paintings. I
do it all by myself, recording late at night with digital equipment. I am
learning sound editing, and I like to keep it pure and direct. I record
all at once, playing the harps and bowls at the same time, and do not add
or mix in any other tracks. I do occasionally use echo type effects in the
editing, that I can not resist. Listen to Om Mani Dreams for a sample. Singing bowls entered my life in the early 1990's, playing stringed instruments has been a passion since I was in my early teens. Mantras crossed my path after the millennium, everything has come together to create something unique. More and more I am writing words in English to go with the mantras. You may find several versions of one mantra in my tracks, each time I play and record it is unique, I do not know exactly what I am going to do, how the harps are going to end up being tuned, and it all is never to be repeated. Tuning up harps can take days. I tune to the bowls. I do not perform, the logistics of all this is too complex for that, with different grouping of bowls for different mantras. Here I am with the harps and bowls. Picture number one is me outside in the summer playing for the nature spirits, taken in 2006. Picture 2 is in 2006, in my studio. In 3, I have just gotten a new big bowl, a really good one, from Silver Sky, 2008. It came right on the solstice. The last picture is me recording Stargate One Love in Nov. of 2009. As you can see, I have removed the chord bars from the autoharps. I got my harps on Ebay and the striker I use is a bass drum pedal beater, the best action I have found for the bowls.
Up until January of 2011 I gave free mp3 downloads of my music right here on this web page. Sadly I have had to take them all down. The reason is there are numerous web sites that use robots to scour the internet for free music, and then they "hotlink" directly to the site. This means I have to pay for the bandwidth, each time somebody listens to one of my tracks it is charged to my website account. So now to hear my music you have two options. One is to hear it when you go on my Surfing the Cosmos page, or watch my videos on my YouTube channel. I also can make you a CD. Email me about that ( sun19@earthlink.net ).

I was able to listen to two of the mantras on your website this morning, after discovering that only my husband's computer had "sound ability." Oh, the healing and the beauty you bring to us! You are indeed healing the world.
I could only listen to two of your works, the Inner Sun Gayatri and the "Om Tara." Two of the phrases in the Inner Sun Gayatri struck me and reinforce what you told me in the following message: "We are one like the sun with all life," and "Know life flows forever." I can't express what they mean, but vibrationally they were the best medicine I could have received, especially for the next two weeks when I must manifest grace and dignity "on an empty emotional tank of gas." The pitch and resonance of the singing bowls in Om Tara hit me like a depth charge, grounding me, stripping away the fear and reorienting me to the right path. I am profoundly grateful, especially hearing your voice as you teach us the way.
