AGNIHOTRA MANTRA

     The music I create comes through my heart, and I give it to the world with love and for healing. My path includes giving guidance, I have followed the stars, danced, painted, and now I am making healing sound paintings. I do it all by myself, recording late at night with digital equipment. I am learning sound editing, and I like to keep it pure and direct. I record all at once, playing the harps and bowls at the same time, and do not add or mix in any other tracks. I do occasionally use echo type effects in the editing, that I can not resist. Listen to Om Mani Dreams for a sample.

     Singing bowls entered my life in the early 1990's, playing stringed instruments has been a passion since I was in my early teens. Mantras crossed my path after the millennium, everything has come together to create something unique. More and more I am writing  words in English to go with the mantras. You may find  several versions of one mantra in my tracks, each time I play and record it is unique, I do not know exactly what I am going to do, how the harps are going to end up being tuned, and it all is never to be repeated. Tuning up harps can take days. I tune to the bowls. I do not perform, the logistics of all this is too complex for that, with different grouping of bowls for different mantras. So sound-paintings it is, each one never to be duplicated, a reflection of a moment in space and time.

Here I am with the harps and bowls. Picture number one is me outside in the summer playing for the nature spirits, taken in 2006. Picture 2 is in 2006, in my studio. In 3, I have just gotten a new big bowl, a really good one, from Silver Sky, 2008. It came right on the solstice. The last picture is me recording Stargate One Love in Nov. of 2009. As you can see, I have removed the chord bars from the autoharps. I got my harps on Ebay and the striker I use is a bass drum pedal beater, the best action I have found for the bowls.

  STARGATE-11                                       8:45 Aum! Pure joy and light. Recorded spring of 2009. Based on the mantra  Gate Gate (say gah-tay), taken from the Heart Sutra, the words of Buddha reaching enlightenment and total realization of the divine self.
  STARGATE-8                                        12:37 Gate mantra, spring 2009, with a little bit of echo on the track. This is one of several tracks of Gate done that same evening. Each one is different.
  STARGATE-3                                        15:23 The third track from the spring 2009 session of Gate. This one is really flowing, rolling, and goes deep into the space of the mantra. Listen to this when you really want to totally relax.
  FULL MOON TARA IN DEEP SPACE           10:42 A very solemn, deep and meditative Tara, communicating a feeling of her magnificence. Recorded on the Wesak full moon, May 2009.
  FULL MOON TARA IN SPACE                    9:59 Recorded May 2009, Wesak full moon. The cosmic Tara. The birdies in the background were really there. This is the track used in my Tara video. I have recorded and painted Tara more than any other.
  HEALING LIGHT-TEYATA                         9:57 This is the mantra of Medicine Buddha with some new words added. Healing comes from within. The new words express this. Teyata, OM, total Love, Clear Blue Light, I heal my Heart, I heal my Life, Body Mind and Soul...
   OM SAT CHIT ANANDA                         34:33 This is about the divine joy and truth, the inner merging of the sacred mother and father, aspects of the cosmos and your inner being. Some new words are included, they are not a literal translation, but go to the meaning of the mantra, the flow of truth, joy and existence, the cosmic soul force through the heart that guides us.
  DEVA OCEAN OF LOVE                          10:00

This is the mantra OM Deva, with new additional words in English.  Deva is the divine.  The song is about loving with all your soul.

  HEART GURU                                        9:43 This mantra is based on the Tibetan mantra Om Ah hum Benza Guru Pema Siddhi Hung. Love in your heart is your True Guru. My words are Oh My Heart is full of Love, True Light of my Soul...Oh my Heart is full Of Joy, to guide my Soul, Om Ah Hum Perfect Guru, the Light of my Soul...Oh my Heart is Strong and True, it guides my Soul...  This is the same track used on my video.
  INNER SUN GAYATRI                              9:25  This is based on the Gayatri mantra, but with additional words in English. The emphasis is on knowing the inner divine light. I AM SHINING LIKE THE SUN, ONE WITH UNIVERSAL LIFE, I KNOW THE TRUTH IS WITHIN ME I KNOW IN LOVE I AM THE LIGHT. We are one with all that is each one a divine spark of light love in my heart clearly guides me we are one like the sun with all life....
  DREAM TARA                                         6:57 This is a free flowing improvisational piece recorded in April of 2007, with a bit of echo on the track in editing. Tara and all the deities are manifestations of aspects of your divine inner self. Become one with her, she is the compassionate creative force of the universal mother.
  ALL MY GUIDES                                    18:10 This is a free flowing improvisational piece recorded in April of 2007. Tara and all the deities are manifestations of aspects of your divine inner self. Become one with her, she is the compassionate creative force of the universal mother.
  OM MANI DREAMS                                 9:09 This is the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum. I have used echo, it worked really well, giving a multidimensional feeling to the mantra.
  SIVA YA NA MA                                     7:27

         

I had a little fun with this one. I used an editing "plug-in" that creates a second voice, so the low voice is not real. But then maybe it is SIVA!!  The crickets ARE real, however, as this was recorded in august of 2008.

The words are;  OM  OM... SI VA YA NA MA, YA NA VA SI MA, MA VA YA NA SI, SI YA NA MA VA, VA SI MA YA NA.   Learn this and you will get enlightened!!  Well, anyway it is about bringing in your higher self, SI is the crown bringing the energies down to MA at the root.

  STARGATE ONE LOVE                             10:40

 

 Written in November of 2009, a further development of the Gate or Stargate mantra. The words were written special with much feeling for a couple friends who had a big heartbreaking breakup. we all have our tests and our stargates, in ordinary life. STARGATE, STARGATE, DEEP IN SILENCE I WAIT, I LOOK TO THE STARGATE, I AM WAITING WITH LOVE TO GIVE...We are all learning to love.
  DEVA PEACE AND LOVE                          19:40 This is a further evolution of Deva Ocean of Love, which is a development of the mantra OM Deva. 
  SOULGUIDES                                        13.45 The base mantra here is AD Guray, I have gone a bit further with the interpretation and added some new words. Dedicated to my dear sister Jeannie who helped me write it from the other side as she passed from this world. Especially the words CLEAR LIGHT OF LOVE FOR ALL. TRUE SIGHT TO GUIDE MY SOUL INNER LIGHT DIVINE BEYOND SPACE AND TIME GUIDE MY SOUL..
  TARA TU                                               9.03 This is one of my earliest tracks of Tara, before I was doing my own recording. Done in 2006 with Mike Schirmer, my recording angel, who helped me get started.

I was able to listen to two of the mantras on your website this morning, after discovering that only my husband's computer had "sound ability."  Oh, the healing and the beauty you bring to us!  You are indeed healing the world. 
 
I could only listen to two of your works, the Inner Sun Gayatri and the "Om Tara."  Two of the phrases in the Inner Sun Gayatri struck me and reinforce what you told me in the following message: "We are one like the sun with all life," and "Know life flows forever."  I can't express what they mean, but vibrationally they were the best medicine I could have received, especially for the next two weeks when I must manifest grace and dignity "on an empty emotional tank of gas."  The pitch and resonance of the singing bowls in Om Tara hit me like a depth charge, grounding me, stripping away the fear and reorienting me to the right path.  I am profoundly grateful, especially hearing your voice as you teach us the way.
