This is an interesting story of an adult chupacabra being shot by a farmer, and the recovery and disappearing of the remains of the creature. It was well published in newspaper and it appeared on TV. I am giving here a summary of the case. A collection of these reports and the proof of the swapping of the carcass by officials can be found by going to the link at the end of this chapter.

It all started on the San Lorenzo farm, owned by Jorge Luis Talavera and located 154 km from Malpaisillo, Nicaragua. The chupacabra had killed 25 of his sheep in 15 days, and his neighbor lost 35 sheep in ten days. Talavera decided to do something about it. One night he saw three of them. One was black, the one he shot was yellow but it got away into the darkness. Two days later, on August 28, 2000, he found the carcass of the chupacabra 80 meters from the victim's corral picked clean by vultures.

Zoo technician Giocconda Chevez, who reached the site to learn more about the discovery, noted that the animal had extremely high nails located above its claws which possibly aided it in attacking its victims, along with the oversized set of fangs. She further notes that its eye-sockets are somewhat large in comparison with its head, making note, as did other visitors to the site, of several protuberances in the upper vertebrae "shaped like a crocodile's crest". Its teeth were pink in color.

The skeleton of the suspected Chupacabras was taken to the Medical Campus of UNAN (National University of Nicaragua at Leon) to determine what species it belonged to. The biologist Pedrarias Dávila stated that it didn't belong to any known animal. The Specialist described the animal as a very uncommon species, after observing the skeleton with yellow hair on its short tail, having great eye cavities, smooth bat skin like, big claws, a jaw that shows big teeth and a outstanding crest sticking out from the main vertebra. It lacked bodily hair and had very small ears.

After about a month, the UNON declared it to be a dog. (does it take that long to figure this out?)

The carcass was originally taken the hospital's morgue and then later transferred to the Department of Morphology. Somewhere along the way the carcass of the chupacabra was switch with the carcass of a dog. Talavera had proof of this: "the skeleton is complete, although I kept a piece of its front leg". He also claims that the bones turned from a dark color to a lighter one, the teeth turned from pink to white, and from 22 teeth that he counted there are now 40 as well as "more skin on the legs".

Besides, a dog does not kill that many sheep, a dog does not suck all the blood out, and does not leave the flesh untouched.

I have several stories of captured alien beings, or alien corpses found, that were retrieved and held by the military of a country, and after a couple of days a USA military airplane arrived to pick it up and fly it to the USA. It seems that the USA has an agreement with many countries to hand over anything alien related.

This story has been in major tabloids, like the, and on alternative website who copied the story from each other, and altering the contents. The closest to the original story I found on the Chilean online newspaper, January 18, 2015.

The two skeletons are very small, and are most likely from babies or infants of whatever strange species this is. Farmers are well familiar with animals and animal skeletons. Because they could not identify the remains, they think they might be from chupacabras, as these are known to be very active in Chili.

Chupacabra? Unusual Discovery made by workers in El Palqui

Workers from a farm in the town of Chañaral Bajo found the stuffed bodies of two animals they could not identify. The myth of the Chupacabras gained strength in the last few hours in the province of Limarí in the face of the unusual finding of agricultural workers who found the stuffed bodies of two animals they could not identify, a fact registered in the Chañaral Bajo farm owned by the Prohens family, in the municipality of Monte Patria.

One of the owners, Javier Prohens, who could not identify the animal origin of the bodies, published the photos of the find on his Facebook account He told that "this happened yesterday at noon Saturday. We were having lunch, when the workers who were cleaning a warehouse asked us to come down, that they had found these things that none of them know what they are."

Prohens added that "they found them in one of the cellars where the wine presses are, where in the past we kept the wine about six or seven years ago; it is not used anymore" and remarked that "the workers thought it could have been a bat but I find that the skull is too long to be from a bat. " The truth is that the finding left the workers impacted, who immediately attributed the find to the mythical Chupacabras.

from Télam newspaper website, February 9, 2013

Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz is the capital city of the province of Santa Fe, Argentina.

They exhibit the remains of a strange animal similar to the mythical "chupacabra"

The skeleton of a small animal found in the north of Santa Fe, similar to the mythical "chupacabra", with claws and fangs, is displayed in a family house as if it were a pet, although it causes amazement and even terror among the neighbors.

Santa Fe, Argentina chupacabra

At first glance, the strange being looks similar to the chupacabra of Puerto Rico, which has also been seen in other countries, among them Argentina, where in the mid-90s rural people attributed it to the slaughter of animals.

The skeleton that the Fernández family exhibits at its house in Esteban De Luca at 2500, in the south of Rosario, was found two and a half years ago in a field in the town of Vera, in the north of Santa Fe.

"My son Ezequiel, who is a hauler, found it next to a post and when he brought it home, it caused an ugly impression to everyone," with "his skin stuffed and intact," said Telam Stella Maris Fernández, the mistress of house, who is bachelor in biological sciences and agronomical studies.

The specimen has ears in the form of a leaf, nostrils, claws with five fingers, a tail, the mouth is open with full teeth, long fangs and a small crest on the top of the head, which is oval.

"It's the closest thing to an extraterrestrial being I've seen in my life," the woman said, adding that she would like "some scientific institution to determine what this horrible bug is about."

While some say that it is a small chupacabra, others say it is the skeleton of a weasel or a bat without wings, although its appearance does not respond at all to an animal of these characteristics and rather refers to one of those escaped monsters of a horror movie.

Kolomyja, Ukraine

Kolomyja is a city located on the Prut River in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast (province), in western Ukraine.

This is an article from the English newspaper The Mirror, April 15, 2016.

Is this hideous creature found dead in European mountain range the legendary blood-drinking Chupacabra?

Locals believe a hideous creature found dead in a European mountain range is the legendary Chupacabra. Experts are struggling to identify the macabre remains of the 'mutant' animal , which was discovered in the Carpathian Mountains. It does not look like any known creature, according to Ukraine's TSN channel. The mummified corpse appears to have several rows of teeth, four legs, a long tail and small, oval-shaped eyes.

It was found by a man walking through Kolomyja town, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The man later said: "I was shocked by the number of teeth "It is not a cat. Cats' teeth are different. "I saw 3 or 4 rows here." His wife added: "Just look at this. Such a horrible creature.

A Chupacabra was our first thought." The infamous Chupacabra is believed to kill rabbits and drink their blood. Ukrainian wildlife expert Mykhailo Luschak said: "This animal does not fit the description of any known species.

"It has got double upper cutting teeth. "Other teeth features that are not common for any known animal." Previously, mysterious remains found in the region have turned out to be martens. The latest corpse was examined by biologists at Ivano-Frankivsk University.

They concluded the head is too big for a marten and have demanded a DNA test on the animal.

Gruesome pictures of the brown-coloured animal show its has deadly fangs, a longish neck and short front legs.

Earlier sightings led to claims that such mutants could be foxes poisoned by radiation.

Another theory is that it might be a hybrid originating from a Soviet plant conducting tests on animals relating to chemical or biological weapons development. A 2012 sighting concluded a similar-looking creature could be a hybrid originating from a Soviet plant conducting tests on animals relating to chemical or biological weapons development.

Plaster Cast from Foot Print, Calama, Chili

The following picture shows plaster casts of different sizes of footprints left by chupacabras outside the house of Patricia Valdivia, a resident of the village of  Calama, Chili. She saw one of the beings, just next to her house, through her window. She noted that the "strange being" measured between 60 and 70 centimeters in a seated position, while long legs protruded from its body, which was covered in leaden-colored hair. The "animal" made a strange growling sound which caused the window panes to rattle, a situation that repeated itself when the "Chupacabras" jumped to escape from the location. It was not the first time that the Chupacabras had visited her premises. "Some time ago, my son heard similar noises. When he looked through the window, he saw the animal with a younger one next to it."
