Most of my latest Jewel Jackets are made with vintage fabrics, beautiful brocades and satin from the forties and fifties, and older. I have been roaming the wonderful world of eBay and have even found vintage that is new, never used, as in the gorgeous fabric of Aquamarine Jewel. These new pieces include Aquamarine Jewel, scrolling down through Blue Feather Garden.

I am not listing prices any more. If you really love a piece and would like to have it make me an offer. Base it on what you think it is worth and what you can give me for it. I will tell you if it works for me. I also am interested in some trading, for vintage fabrics, silks and so on, things like you see in the work I do.
Aquamarine Jewel This long jacket-robe features a jewel like aquamarine brocade. It is vintage but "new" and unused, with a tulip motif. Both sides of the fabric are showing, creating a magical shimmering effect. The sleeves are an electric blue vintage brocade, the front edge is another shade of blue, also a vintage brocade. The cuffs and edging are of velveteen. Pockets are near my hands, inside the seam. It is unlined. Size medium, would fit a small if you like it flowing. I have quite a bit more of the aquamarine brocade, and could include it in a custom made jacket. Washable gentle cold, no dryer.
Clay Rose Jewel This piece is extra luxurious. It has a panel of the rose fabric up and down the back. The fabrics both are heavier weight vintage brocades, just gorgeous. Sleeves are a vintage solid, satiny ribbed fabric. Cuffs and front edge are dark brown velvet. There are hidden pockets in the side seams. Click on the image to see it on a larger person. I am 5'6" medium build.
Golden Healer The gold and orange brocade is another of my recent eBay finds, vintage but new and never used. The red satin with leaves brocade is in contrast a very used vintage, with real vibes, it is not 100% perfect, but is in decent good condition. The gold sleeves are also an older vintage. A special piece, and not something you would bang around in. The front border is a burgundy velvet. No pockets. Partial lining is gold colored silk. Click to see back.
Pumpkin Magic Made with a very, very vintage fabric, a pumpkin gold drape panel with a swirling fern pattern. Front is velvets, two colors. Cuffs are another vintage, a rust-rose satin brocade. No pockets. The ferns fabric is a bit on the delicate side, so this is a jacket to be worn gently.
Rose Gold Lily A shorter jacket made with the same clay rose colored vintage brocade as "Clay Rose Jewel" shown above. Dark brown velvet cuffs and front edging, no pockets. A very high quality and hard to find vintage satin brocade with Lily of the Valley designs on it. Another one of my eBay finds, the brocade came from near the Snake River, out west, a wild and beautiful place.
Toffee Cream This one is the color of coffee with lots of cream. The fabric is a cotton/rayon type vintage brocade, the raised waffle design is silky shiny, the background is a faille texture, and has a silky feel but is matte. Front edge is a heavy plush vintage velvet dyed to match, a shade darker. No pockets, as pockets tend to ruin the line of these shorter jackets.
Vintage Cream Here I am in my studio with my painting of Medicine Buddha. This piece is very classic, it reminds me of the robe of the alchemist in Dirk's Alchemical Tarot, except it's cream, not red. It's the same fabric as Toffee Cream, just a lot lighter, a cream with no coffee! Cuffs and front edge are a heavy satin brocade, also vintage.
Dakshina The third and last of this particular fabric, each piece dyed a different shade. I wish I had more of it, it is a great one. Very comfortable, beautiful, and at the same time more practical and something you could wear a lot. Here it is in more of a honey color, also with the plush vintage velvet in front. The cuffs and front inset are a deep red with gold brocade. One of my personal favorites! I just love to make beautiful things, beauty is an expression of inner harmony and the divine.
Green Gold Jewel The colors in this one are just wonderful, green gold set off by a deep forest green front edge. Modeled by Deanna, a large built person, bigger than me. Click to see this same piece on each of us. It is another of the unused vintage fabrics I was lucky enough to find, just magnificent! A flowing , magical, wearable piece, you could live in it if you wanted to. Yes, it does have pockets!
Blue Valley2 This jacket is made from another fabulous heavy satin vintage brocade. the cuffs and front edge are a dark brown velvet. The design is lily of the valley, the color is a soft blue, it is not to the turquoise.
Blue Feather Garden Be sure to click to see the back of this one! It is one of my all time favorite vintage brocade pieces, silky, fluid medium heavy satin. It is combined with several other various fabrics, vintage silk, and printed rayon satin..
Turquoise Jewel This lighter weight jacket would be wonderful to relax in. It is made a black rayon satin printed in a Chinese style with blue flowers. the front edge is a deep turquoise brocade with silk.
Durge A rayon satin print jacket, with Chinese style prints. One of my favorite mantras is Durge Ma, and colors of this jacket feel like the power it expresses. It is lightweight and one size. The back is a solid panel of just the red printed fabric.
Ruby Fire Longer in the front and the back, this jacket is very unique in it's design. Made with three designer fabrics, the red is a sculpted textured rayon, the black a heavy faille, and the golden amber brown in front and back is embroidered. Facing the inside this panel is a light weight black satin silk.
The red is an intense clear red, high energy and exciting. It is balanced and grounded by the black and amber, creating a dramatic piece.
Cranberry Be sure to click on this one to see the back detail. Includes a deep cranberry rose satin rayon brocade with a flower print, vintage gold edging, and real Chinese brocade silk-rayon sleeves.
Blue Jewel The picture here dose not do justice to the colors. The body of the jacket is a vintage brocade that is an intense jewel like blue. The neckband is deep deep midnight blue velvet. Click on it to see how it hangs in the back, a really fun piece.
Blue Flowers Brilliant blues, includes a satiny rayon brocade. the color combinations here were the result of a group of fabrics that sort of happened to fall together on my table. They sat there for a while and just called to me, blues and just the right yellow gold greens. The rayon brocade is very special, luxurious.

Beautiful silk and silk-rayon brocades, glowing here in the late fall sun. Lightweight, but with a cozy warmth, unlined in the skirt, but silk lined in the bodice and sleeves. A hidden inter-lining of lightweight fleece fabric in the bodice gives it body and a soft feel.
